OCAC’s mission is to restore and maintain historic Oxford College as a permanent home for the arts in the Oxford area, to facilitate activities of the community arts organizations and to promote the arts and arts education.
Community Arts Centers enliven neighborhoods throughout our region, make the tri-state area a great place to live, work, play, and visit, and provide access to a wide range of art opportunities which bring people together to share experiences and ideas; inspire children, adults, and families; and help to create vibrant and connected communities.
A decade ago, there were only three arts centers located throughout the region. Today, we number 26 strong and continue to emerge and develop in new neighborhoods across Greater Cincinnati as more and more residents discover how a community-based arts center can serve as a catalyst for growth and change.
OCAC is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Community Arts Centers Network.
